Two of our tours are completely free — the Saranda Free Tour by Day and the Saranda After Dark Free Tour. Both run on a tip-based model: no upfront payment, no booking fee. At the end, guests are welcome to tip their guide starting from €10 with no upper limit — pay whatever you feel the experience was worth, in cash or by card.

The other four tours are paid experiences: St. George's Monastery (€29), Walking Tour with Food & Drink (€35), Butrint, Blue Eye & Lekursi Sunset (€40), and UNESCO Gjirokastër Heritage Tour (€60). All prices are paid in person on the day — booking is always free.

What times does the Free Walking Tour run? +
The Free Tour by Day runs every day at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM, 365 days a year, rain or shine. Please arrive a few minutes early as the tour departs on time.

The After Dark Tour runs in the evening — exact time is confirmed at booking. For all other tours, timing is flexible and agreed upon when you book.
What languages are the tours offered in? +
The Free Tour by Day, After Dark Tour, and Food & Drink Tour are available in both English and Albanian (Shqip). All other tours are offered in English. Select your preferred language when booking.
Do I need to make a reservation? +
Yes, booking in advance is strongly recommended for all tours. It helps us prepare and guarantees your spot. Reservations are always free — payment for paid tours is made in person on the day of the tour. If your plans change, we kindly ask you to let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
Can I cancel my booking? +
Since booking is free and all payments are made in person, there is no financial penalty if you cancel. However, we kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you can't make it — it helps your guide prepare for the right group size and is greatly appreciated. Just send us a message via WhatsApp or email.
What is included in the Food & Drink Walking Tour? +
The €35/person includes a guided walking tour of Saranda followed by a full traditional Albanian and Greek meal: homemade byrek, your choice of main course (fresh seafood, grilled meat, or vegetarian), a drink (local beer, regional wine, or juice), and a traditional dessert. Depending on the evening, live music may also be present. Additional food or drinks beyond the set menu are at your own expense. Not suitable for people with food allergies.
What does the Gjirokastër Heritage Tour include? +
The €60/person tour includes pick-up from Ksamil (09:00) or Saranda (09:30) in an air-conditioned vehicle, a certified local guide, and scenic stops along the way. In Gjirokastër you'll explore the Old Bazaar, cobblestone streets, and Ottoman architecture. The castle visit is optional — entrance costs 400 ALL and is paid on site. Meals, personal expenses, and other museum entries are not included. Limited to 7 participants for a more personal experience. Please have WhatsApp available on your booking number.
What does the Butrint, Blue Eye & Lekursi Sunset Tour include? +
The €40/person tour includes an air-conditioned vehicle, a local guide, photos by the guide, and entry tickets to the Blue Eye, Lekursi Castle, and St. George's Monastery. The Butrint entry ticket (€10/person) is paid directly on site. The Blue Eye train ride (€3 per way) is optional. Lunch is not included. The tour ends at Lekursi Castle timed for the sunset. Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with recent surgeries.
What should I wear and bring? +
For all tours, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses — especially important during the summer months. For the Monastery Tour, please dress respectfully as it is a religious site. For day trips, bring a camera and arrive at the meeting point a few minutes early. For the After Dark Tour, just bring your smile and a good mood!
